The Mystery of Mephistopheles

Mephistopheles. His name is associated with the Faust legend, in which Faust makes a deal with the Devil at the price of his soul at which time Mephistopheles acts like the Devil’s agent. Interestingly, Shakespeare also mentions his name in the comedy he wrote called “Merry Wives of Windsor”.
If we break his name down in Greeks, we find that Mephistopheles is a combination of three words:
- μή (mḗ) as a negation,
- φῶς (phō̃s) meaning “light,”
- φιλις “philis” meaning “loving.”
Or, “not-light-loving”…..
A good friend of mine suggested me to start working with Mephistopheles, so I did and I must say it was a very unusual experience!
Because I had never worked with him in the past, my first contact with him was only to introduce myself. As a person who is working mostly with Goetic Demons, I must admit that he has nothing to do with the Goetia. His presence was powerful, so much so to the point that I experienced dizziness and nausea. These physical symptoms happened only the first two times, but after that, even though his presence is strong, it is not to the point of physical discomfort of dizziness and nausea.
In my first encounter with Mephistopheles, I began with thanking him for his presence and just when I was about to introduce myself, he interrupted me by saying, “I know you and what your issues are. I can help with that”. I was a bit surprised that he accepted me and offered his help without prior contact or a bond.
During the next days or weeks, we worked together discussing many things, addressing many subjects and issues. Mephistopheles likes to talk a lot, and as he spoke to me, gave me highly valuable insights about my problems, including facts about himself. Of course, according to him, the incident with the Faust never happened – it is nothing more than a myth!
He is very close to Satan and is a Demon which does not deal with specifics, as he is powerful enough to help with just about everything. He loves to talk and teach, and when he started to deal with my issues, I started seeing results in only two days after our initial meeting. He dealt very effectively with the problems I was facing, but in a way foreign – weird actually – to me, as compared to working with other Demons. Mephistopheles also worked with King Paimon together, after my friend’s suggestion, and once again he was very effective!
As I keep working with Mephistopheles, he permitted me to post what He has shown me about Himself.
- Color: Purple
- Direction: Southwest
- Element: Water
- He has no Legions under his commands.
- Offerings: He doesn’t like blood offerings AT ALL. All the times that I suggest him to offer him a few drops of my blood, he said No. Instead, he loves tobacco, and when we work together, he told me to light a cigarette and exhale the smoke on his sigil, so this is my offering to him.
- He is a night Demon, so if you try to call him forth during the day he is not going to respond. I tried invoking him few times during daytime, but I didn’t receive anything.
- He is also connected with the crossroads. I know this because all the spells he has given me so far all include these crossings. I’m planning to ask him during our working.
Mephistopheles is a Demon who is worth taking your time to get to know, and one worth working with, but he is not easily invoked. If he does not accept you, then leave Him alone. But, because he has a well-developed sense of what he likes and dislikes about a person, so you will know immediately if he accepts you. If he does, you will truly enjoy his company, conversations, teaching, and especially his help.
Thank you, Mephistopheles, for all the help that you gave me and for all the things that you teach me, and you still do!
What do you think the best thing Mephistopheles taught you is? I’ve been considering working with him as I’ve come across a few people talking about him, but still not really sure he’s the right spirit to work with. Does he help with similar things to what he did in Faust or is that all just a myth?
The myth about Faust never happens according to him. But as i have seen so far he can help with almost everything. Of course, as i said in the article, its not a Demon for beginners…..
The narration does not include the steps to take for with Mephistopheles
Define “the steps”…..
RenaV, Hi there & hoping this find you well. I do not know how to say this without feeling awkward. So I would like to start with that I have searched high & low for you or someone like you. I have had many years of experiences that honestly I cannot explain. I have to say that I have experienced so much starting at the age 2 or 3 years old. I am in means trying to toot my own horn nor sympathy, but empathy & compassion of mutual understanding. I have been through so much, but I clearly desire to grow and evolve in more ways than one. I have been practicing since around puberty. Currently at stand still & I need to know where to start. I was considering the 5th Goetic daemon for the beginning, & also very intrigued by King Paimon. Help me find a starting point. You may email me also, thank you so much. All hail Samael, & all hail King Paimon!
Alloces and Orobas are very easy Demons to start with! Very helpful and very kind!! Mephistopheles is definitely NOT for beginners and as for King Paimon, i will recommend you to have previous experiences with other Demons before you try the first contact with him!
Thank you RenaV
another question, should I be contacting ALLOCES & OROBAS seperately or is that a silly question?
separately of course!
Great read! Thanks for posting. I really enjoy this site. Feels authentic and genuine.
thank you very much for your kind words!
